Jack Reynolds was such an icon to the Issaquah wrestling programs and WA state
wrestling. Those of us that had the opportunity to meet him or like Coach Hyatt who
had him as a Coach, he was such a roll model and mentor. This was the last high
school tournament for the Issaquah Seniors and they took advantage to excel.

12-10-2011 ~ Battle at The Border
Saturday went by fast. Unfortunately, we saw many of the boys drop early in some
very hard fought matches. At the end of the day 2 remained in the championship
round; Max Tickman @ 126 finished 6th and Joseph Tonnemaker @ 145 finished 1st.
Issaquah concluded the tournament placing 10th out of 22 teams. The last time
Coach Hyatt had a champion at Battle at the Border was Matt Glenn in 2005.
Matt went on to finish 3rd at state in 2006.
